Some people believe that they have received the Holy Spirit, yet have never spoken with tongues - including people with similar "experiences" who have already died without ever speaking in tongues (so they think).
We look at the Scriptures to see if this position is biblical and also what it means to be "sealed with the Spirit of promise", according to Ephesians 1.13.

People have quoted 2 Corinthians 1.22 to state that we receive the Holy Spirit when we believe on Jesus Christ and the "seal" of the Spirit guarantees our salvation.
That's not true, because the Scriptures have so much more to say about the meaning behind the verse. Check out the video (Part 2) to learn what that meaning is, using BlueLetterBible.

Some say that "tongues" are not for everyone, and others also say because "speaking in tongues" was just for the apostles or 1st century people.
This is not true, because the Scriptures do not agree with those statements (and neither cessationism).
In this lesson, we look at the Scriptures that demonstrate that "speaking in tongues" is still for today, including the gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1st Corinthians 12.

Denominations today have caused a major stumbling block for believers and unbelievers because it is confusing to know what is true, in the midst of all of the "options."
In this study, we will do a Scriptural deep dive as to what the Bible says about the concept of "denominations" and how to know which is the right one.

People have negated the significance of speaking with tongues by making statements like "the accounts of speaking in tongues are just descriptive, they are not prescriptive".
When people do this with "speaking in tongues" and other subjects of Scripture, they rob themselves of biblical understanding and revelation that God has for them.
All Scripture is BOTH descriptive and prescriptive, because it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.
Listen to learn more about why this question is unbiblical in its approach.

People wonder if "speaking in tongues" is real and talk about devils speaking in tongues and people just blabbing away gibberish.
In this lesson, we look into Scriptural principles to address this question so that we can know how to know if any "speaking in tongues" we observe or experience are real.

Some people quote or cite the phrases from 1 Corinthians about "tongues" just being a gift, but totally neglect what and how the Bible talks about "speaking in tongues (or unknown languages)".
Speaking with tongues/unknown languages is not thrown around in Scripture as just "tongues".
But people talk about it like it's not a big deal and say that it's not for everyone and just "a gift" or "added blessing".
This is all false and a misrepresentation of Scripture.
In this video, we do a deep dive on what the Bible says about "speaking in tongues".

Many people state things like "speaking in tongues is not essential to salvation because that would mean we are saved by works".
These statements make absolutely no biblical sense.
In this study, we dive into what the Scriptures talk about regarding works and answer the question as to how "speaking in tongues" fits into all of it.
